Washington Commanders owner Daniel Snyder is ready to spill the tea on the NFL if he continues catching flack from the league.
The 57-year-old has faced a laundry list of allegations about the way he runs his organization. However, he is unbothered and secure in his position due to some top-secret info that he claims to be privy to that could allegedly dismantle the NFL as we know it.
Multiple sources have noted Snyder saying he has enough “dirt” on fellow league owners and commissioner Roger Goodell to “blow up” the league. He has been cited as calling the professional football organization the “mafia.”
Snyder’s arrogance comes as he stands accused of using private investigators to look into scandals about other team owners. While no concrete evidence has surfaced, Snyder’s “dirt” must be credible, as one NFL exec referred to him as “the most powerful owner in the NFL.” Despite this power, he was still fined $10 million for his inappropriate actions toward multiple former and current employees. In 2018, he was accused of sexually harassing numerous team cheerleaders. In 2020, 42 women, many of which were former team staffers, accused members of the Washington organization of sexual harassment. Multiple of these allegations pointed the finger directly at Snyder.
Other team owners dislike Snyder and have wondered why the NFL has not yet forced him to sell the team. His continued position is only fueling rumors that whatever bombshell he is sitting on could indeed send the world of sports reelings. For now, losing his team appears to be the least of Snyder’s worries.
“They can’t f**k with me,” he reportedly gloated.
