Members of Diddy’s star group Danity Kane will testify against him, with one likely taking the stand on Friday.
Dawn Richard is expected to testify against her former boss on May 16th. She previously sued Diddy, alleging he assaulted her and also abused Cassie in her presence. Richard’s testimony, alongside that of her former bandmate, Aubrey O’Day, adds serious weight to the prosecution, as both women are bringing firsthand accounts of Diddy’s alleged abuse within his inner circle.
Singer Dawn Richard will testify against Sean “Diddy” Combs tomorrow.
Richard was part of the Danity Kane girl group founded by Combs, and she was in his Dirty Money band.

Us Weekly first confirmed that O’Day, 41, had been subpoenaed and had traveled to New York City to testify in the high-profile trial.
“It’s nerve-wracking, but she’s ready. She’s not going to back down. She wants justice for everyone,” a source shared, also revealing that O’Day has a project in the works related to the trial.
O’Day and Richard rose to fame on MTV’s “Making the Band.” O’Day was later removed from the group during the “Making the Band 4” finale in 2008. On May 14, O’Day shared a video from New York on Instagram, captioned, “Hey New York!!! Where y’all think I should head first?” with a justice scale emoji.
Diddy, who has pleaded not guilty to charges including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, remains behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, stated, “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal… These are the acts of an innocent man.”
