The 38-year-old former NFL safety – who has been charged with drugging and raping two women in L.A. and faces two counts of aggravated rape of two different women in New Orleans – was officially terminated by the NFL Network, according to a spokesman. Sharper was an analyst on the network after his playing days ended, but was suspended indefinitely without pay Jan. 18 following an arrest for drug possession.
Sharper’s legal woes have continued to mount ever since that January arrest – he was charged with seven felony counts by the Los Angeles County DA Feb. 14, including two counts of rape by use of drugs in connection with two separate incidents in October and January; he faces the aggravated rape charges in New Orleans; and Sharper is under investigation for similar alleged criminal behavior (drugging and sexually assaulting females) in Tempe, Ariz., Las Vegas and Miami Beach, Fla.
Things just keep getting worse for Sharper. Rumor has it that the number of alleged victims could be up to 9 now.
