Diddy VERZUZ Jermaine Dupri finally has a date.
Over the weekend, Diddy caught up with Busta Rhymes while in Miami for Formula 1 and revealed he’s finally facing Dupri in a Verzuz on September 8 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
“We’re gon’ have you out the rafters flying out the sky,” Diddy can be seen telling Busta as Fabolous stood beside them.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting a showdown between the two hip-hop moguls since Diddy challenged Dupri in 2021.
Earlier this year, Dupri confirmed the battle would finally be happening during an appearance on the I Am Athlete podcast.
“It’s coming next year…,” Dupri said on the podcast, which was filmed in December 2022. “It’s gonna be like the Super Bowl.”
Despite Diddy comments to Busta, VERZUZ co-founders Timbaland and Swizz Beatz have not formally announced the event.
