Last minute brides, your emergency backup plan just arrived. Literally.
David’s Bridal just flipped the script on traditional wedding prep. The iconic bridal chain, around for 75 years, is now teaming up with DoorDash to deliver wedding dresses, shoes, and accessories right to your doorstep in under an hour.
In a move no one saw coming, DoorDash, has entered the bridal game. With over 180 David’s Bridal locations across the U.S., brides-to-be can now order gowns and party-ready looks straight from their phone and have them arrive faster than most pizza deliveries.
The partnership isn’t just for future brides either. It’s perfect for last minute party looks, backup bridesmaid dresses, and emergency heel swaps when the ones you packed suddenly betray you.
“David’s takes the stress away so you can focus on celebrating and feeling beautiful and confident for any special occasion,” said CEO Kelly Cook.
Whether it’s for a holiday event, a wardrobe malfunction, or a sudden invite, the brand wants to make sure you’re.
Since the launch, David’s Bridal has already pulled off over 2,000 deliveries through DoorDash, with Las Vegas leading the charge.
Cook also told CBS MoneyWatch that about 17% of their customers are buying dresses for weddings happening in less than three weeks, so the demand is definitely real.
This move comes just a couple years after David’s Bridal filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2023. Now, they’re bouncing back with a tech savvy, convenience first pivot that actually makes sense in today’s world.
If you’re in a wedding pinch or just forgot to grab heels for your bestie’s engagement party, David’s and DoorDash got you.
