DDG may be in the middle of a nasty custody battle with Halle Bailey, but he is making it clear that his bag is still quite large.
He reportedly earned a jaw-dropping $12,345,987 on Twitch in the month of May, reportedly his highest-grossing month ever. He shared a screenshot of the figure on Twitter, writing, “May was my best month ever on Twitch.”
Fans couldn’t believe the earnings number. Many dismissed it as a stunt, speculating his earnings were closer to $25,000. Others compared him to Twitch stars like Kai Cenat.
TwitchTracker and StreamsCharts confirm DDG streamed 289 hours in May, averaging 24,280 viewers per stream, and racked up nearly 1.6 million new followers. His biggest moment came during a livestreamed party in Akron, Ohio, pulling in over 205,000 viewers.
DDG is currently facing abuse allegations launched by Bailey. She claims he chipped her tooth and left bruises on her during different explosive instances. He fired back, accusing his ex of being emotionally unstable and unable to properly care for their son, Halo. Additionally, a fan also threatened a lawsuit against the streamer after his brother, Dub, beat up the man at DreamCon, seemingly at DDG’s urging.
As his drama unfolds in court, DDG’s online presence continues to soar with millions tuning in to see his life and turn-ups.
