DDG says the viral DreamCon fight between his brother Dub and a heckler was merely an act of self-defense.

DDG spoke out on Twitter Spaces to give his side of the story.
“My brother was in fear for his life,” he said. “The dude was following us around the whole entire DreamCon, trying to embarrass us and bully us. I told my brother to check him…check and see if he needs help…because he kept following us. We thought he was, like, a little slow or whatever.”
The situation escalated over the weekend when the fan labeled DDG “Doo Doo Garbage,” a jab that seemingly offended the streamer and his brother. The moment turned physical when Dub stepped in and confronted the heckler, who later identified himself online and claimed to be the victim in the altercation. He’s now talking legal action and says he was banned from the event, despite being body slammed by Dub.
DDG later insisted the whole situation was a skit gone wrong and said neither he nor his brother should be blamed. Unfortunately, given that the entire ordeal was captured on film, there is a good chance that the fan will have a case against the pair.
