DDG Reveals He’s Been Celibate for Six Months Following Halle Bailey Split [Video]

DDG is focused on his self-care, and eliminating sex is a large part of that.

The rapper and streamer revealed he’s been celibate for half a year in a new Instagram reel posted Tuesday. While lip-syncing lyrics from “Man on a Mission” off his “Blame the Chat” album, he captioned the video, “pov: you been celibate for 6 months & sleeping alone again tonight.”

DDG, who shares a 16-month-old son with ex-girlfriend Halle Bailey, has kept his dating life private since their split. He was previously linked to Rubi Rose, but hasn’t gone public with anyone new.

Earlier this year, DDG expressed frustration about custody issues with Bailey, yet he hasn’t closed the door on their relationship.

“I don’t plan on getting into another relationship at all unless it’s [with] Halle. That’s the only way,” he said. “I am not finna get a new girlfriend. I don’t have the desire. I don’t want multiple baby mamas, I don’t want none of that. We’re taking a break, like I said.”

Bailey has not spoken publicly about plans to reconnect romantically with the streamer.
