DDG has seemingly scrapped his BBL giveaway with Beverly Hills-based cosmetic practitioner Dr. Dorfman.
Days ago, he shared a promotional video with Dorfman, promising to cover the case for two selected women wanting to enhance their backsides. This immediately caused backlash from social media, who slammed the rapper for promoting unhealthy body expectations. Some questioned why he wouldn’t partner with a cause for children or even education.
One Twitter user urged DDG to “Pay off somebody’s student loans instead.” He responded, confirming that he would no longer be affiliated with the giveaway and had instead turned his attention to a new, more beneficial cause.
“u right. I cancelled it. who want they tuition paid,” he confirmed.

DDG has been the subject of criticism in recent weeks, so it’s likely he didn’t want any additional bad press. Earlier this month, he announced his breakup with Halle Bailey in a lengthy Instagram post. Many slammed the streamer for seemingly eagerly sharing the news. Some even attributed the partnership with a cosmetic surgeon to him somehow taking a jab at Bailey.
Collaborating with influencers has become a popular trend for surgeons. Goals Plastic Surgery is known for teaming up with reality stars and artists to promote its many services. They frequently document the procedures on celebrity clients, many of which get discounted rates in these deals.
