DDG Says He’ll “Never Switch Up On Drake” Amid His Feud With Kendrick Lamar: “I’m A Loyal Friend And Fan”

The aftermath of Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s beef is still lingering with fans making it clear on what side they stand on. Among those who have already pledge their allegiance, YouTuber DDG is the latest celebrity to make it clear that he will remain loyal to Drizzy.

“I could never switch up on Drake as a fan, bruh,” DDG said during a recent livestream. “I just can’t. Even if he did something to me personally. I just couldn’t.”

He continued, “I’ve been listening to the music since I was a kid. I’m a loyal friend and fan. If I’m a fan of your stuff, I’mma be a fan of your stuff forever.”

Despite the drama between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, DDG is remaining unapologetic about his support for the OVO founder and brushed off any controversy that follows the Canadian rapper. In fact, DDG pointed out Drake’s ongoing legal issues, particularly his lawsuits with Universal Music Group (UMG). Even though Drake is currently dealing with these legal woes, DDG isn’t letting it taint his relationship with the 6 God.

“I don’t give a damn what he do,” he continued. “He files three lawsuits, 10 lawsuits. Drop a song, I’ll forget about it. Where the music at.”

While some fans praised DDG for having courage to stick around as a Drake fan, many others called him out saying, “Who the hell asked DDG for his input? Go teach your baby how to not whip your a** on screen.” But, as of now, it seems like Drake still has an unwavering fanbase that didn’t switch sides following the high-profiled beef with Lamar.
