Baller Behind The Scenes – Def Jam Records Name Joie “Joey I.E.” Manda Label President

Joey IE has been making moves behind the scenes for a very long time. He has been named the new president of Def Jam Recordings and is to start June 1st.

According to sources on XXL:

Sources at each label were surprised by the news, with one labeling the possible hiring as “unrealistic.”

Well that source at that other label better get with it because he has been hired as the new president.

Congrats to “Joey IE”

For those of you don’t know. Shakir was the president of Def Jam who committed suicide back in 2008 🙁
