Retired NFL star Deion Sanders says that if he’d had Brittany Renner giving him advice before he went pro, he would be richer.
The current head coach of the Jackson State football team praised Renner during a recent episode of his “21st and Prime” podcast, where the Instagram model was a guest. During the discussion, the two spoke about their October meeting, where Renner spoke with Sanders’ team about how not to get caught up with the wrong women as they pursue their football dreams. The championship winner said that he wished his younger self could have heard her words of wisdom.
“If I had been sitting in that room at Florida State and I had her come and lay it out like she laid it out. If I would have had that, I would be at least $20 million richer,” Sanders said during the show.
He went on to add that her advice would have better prepared him for “the game of life.” The 54-year-old says he “misconstrued what love and some women were.” He says he would have saved millions in divorce and legal fees.
Sanders, a father of five, was married to Carolyn Chambers from 1989 to 1998 and then to Pilar Sanders from 1999 to 2013. Renner also has her fair share of pro-baller experience, having a baby with Charlotte Hornets forward P.J. Washington and previously admitting to dating powerful men for their money and resources.
