Last week, Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy was accused of brutally beating his longtime girlfriend, Delicia Cordon. In a post shared by Cordon’s best friend, Mia, she claimed McCoy had a history of physical abuse and drug abuse, including illegal steroids. However, McCoy denied all allegations.
Just hours after the news went viral, new details confirmed McCoy’s defense, and proved that he was not the assailant. Instead, sources close to Cordon, claimed McCoy orchestrated the hit that left his ex beaten, bloody and hospitalized. In fact, in Cordon’s 9-1-1 call, she doubled down on the claim, alleging that the baller set her up, in attempt to get her out of the Georgia home he owns.
But now, after further investigation, Cordon’s lawyer, Tanya Mitchell Graham, says her client is “no longer certain” about McCoy’s involvement in the violent home invasion, and she’s making plans to move out of the home in question.

In the meantime, the incident is under investigation by both the Bills and the NFL, over the initial claims of illegal drug use, child abuse and domestic violence. However, according to CBS, McCoy had a feeling his relationship with Cordon would come to this.

Sources say officials were called to the home three times over the last year, amid the former couple’s legal battle over the home. According to reports, upon their breakup, McCoy had been trying to get Cordon out of the house he owns, and retrieve the pieces of “high-end jewelry” she’d received throughout their relationship, but Cordon refused, prompting a legal battle between the two. In fact, according to the publication, he claimed he feared she might “make false accusations about him.”

Upon Cordon’s return from an overseas vacation, that’s when the incident unfolded. However, no one has been arrested or charged in the incident, as of yet.
