After delivering an Amazon package through a third-party app and spitting on the item, a Los Angeles man has now been terminated.
Caught on a Ring camera, the man not only spit on the package upon delivering it but smeared it, took a picture to complete the delivery, and went on with his day.
According to TMZ, a neighbor witnessed the incident and told the owner, who proceeded to contact Amazon to notify the company.
Amazon assured the customer that the man’s disgusting act was not a representation of the companies policies. Amazon then contacted the app that the man was delivering the package through, and in turn, the man was fired.
It remains unclear if police were called to intervene, but with the current state of the world being in a pandemic, it’s likely authorities were involved in some way.
