Delta, Amex Airline Lounges Will Set Time Limits On Visits To Prevent People From Working Too Long

Well, airport lounge-goers, beware! Delta and Amex airline lounges will now have a time limit on how long you can lounge.

Delta Air Lines has a three-hour max for people using Delta Sky Club.

“We are not a WeWork,” Managing Director Claude Roussel said. The new rules have been placed to prevent fliers from excessively lounging or working in the lounges, more so now that travel has returned to pre-pandemic levels.

American Express Centurion lounges are expected to follow suit, Forbes reported, with the San Francisco Centurion lounge already having a time limit of three hours.

The airlines have kept in mind the inevitable delays and cancellations, making them exceptions, and therefore will offer some relief surrounding the new rules, TravelNoire reported.
