Sacramento Kings Center DeMarcus Cousins has signed a max contract extension deal for four years and $62 million dollars. There is aĀ “No early termination” option inĀ Cousins contract extension and this means heĀ will be with the Kings until the 2017-2018Ā basketball season. Cousins is the third member of the NBA Draft ClassĀ of 2010 to sign a max contract extensionĀ before the NBA season starts. He joins Washington Wizards John Wall and Indiana Pacers Paul George in this class. Hopefully Cousins will calm downĀ his defensive strugglesĀ andĀ get a grip on his anger issues on the court. Ā This deal is too big for him to blow because he cannot handle himself out on the court. Cousins needs to put up bigĀ pointsĀ and calm down on defense. It is that simple!
