According to “The Guardian,” retired NBA player, Dennis Rodman is asking Donald Trump to send him to North Korea to end the drama and create peace between North Korea and America.

Since September 1st, there has been a ban on US passport holders from entering North Korea. Both nations have been in a constant battle due to the beef between President Trump and North Korean President, Kim Jong-un.

Rodman thinks he can make an impact in this situation. Rodman was hoping to do a sixth trip but during an interview in Beijing, he said U.S. officials told him that,”it’s not a good time right now.”

Rodman first met Kim Jong-un in 2013 and has called him a friend ever since. Rodman says, “If I can go back over there … you’ll see me talking to him, and sitting down and having dinner, a glass of wine, laughing and doing my thing. I guess things will settle down a bit and everybody can rest at ease.”

Whether or not Rodman can make a difference has yet to be seen. He said he has been trying to talk to #Trump for months but has not heard back. If Trump does give Rodman the go ahead, we don’t know if Rodman can bend Kim’s ear on the political side, since according to him, he and Kim have not talked politics.
