The “Panda” star has finally learned his fate after the disgusting April incident, which several flight attendants witnessed. After pleading guilty to federal indecent exposure, Desiigner will spend two years on probation and must complete 120 hours of community service. However, the most damning part is that the rapper must register as a sex offender.
Desiigner, whose real name is Sidney Royel Selby III, exposed himself to several flight attendants before he began jerking off. At one point, a jar of lubricant fell into the aisle. Desiigner was on his way back from a trip to Japan, and once off the plane, he told federal authorities that he had not had sex while overseas. Shortly after news broke of the shocking series of events, the 26-year-old admitted that he’d been experiencing mental health challenges and would be checking himself in a treatment facility.
A judge wants to guarantee that Desiigner is getting continued help, which is why he must complete a court-ordered psychiatric evaluation. Drug testing is also required during his probational period, TMZ confirmed.
Registering as a sex offender will likely prevent Desiigner from living and working in certain areas. This could create a problem for any performances in the future. However, he did claim to be retiring from music after Takeoff passed away, so only time will tell if his livelihood will be impacted. As of now, Desiigner has yet to speak out publicly about his punishment.
