The co-founder of Zeus, DeStorm Power, is calling out Lemuel Plummer for multiple offenses. He is currently suing the celebrity content creator and according to Power, he has good reason.

In a scathing nine-minute video with numerous receipts, Power, an Emmy Award winner, detailed how he and fellow creators King Bach and Amanda Cerny helped launch the network. According to Power, along with Plummer, they worked together to bring other creators to the app in its initial days. Power included a previous interview with Plummer, where he confirmed that these were indeed the people he started with.
In one instance, Power says Plummer called him to reveal that he had run out of money while sponsoring the streaming platform. Power then stepped up with his own money to continue funding their passion project ahead of its launch. Power says he invested over $130,000 to launch other series on the app.
“Contractually, we weren’t supposed to put up any money. But Lemmy said, ‘I’m gonna pay you back as soon as Zeus launches and we’re profitable,’” he stated.
Furthermore, Power stated he called a producer named Tommy Brand, who provided over 1,000 beats to use in the app’s shows, with a promise that Zeus would compensate him once the company began making money. However, that never happened.
Cerny also partnered with Diageo for half of her fee to get a Ciroc sponsor for launch day. She retweeted Power’s video with the statement, “And this doesn’t even scratch the surface,” seemingly confirming everything Power was revealing.
Power also included a separate interview where Plummer shaded his early partners by deeming them as not a large part of the app’s success. However, this notion is immediately contradicted when Power includes a voice note Plummer sent to him, in which he is heard stating, “Part of what makes this whole platform successful is yes, you guys are partners and owners with me in this. What you bring to the table, like you said, is relationships. People would not do this if it wasn’t because of you, King Bach, and Amanda.”
“Lemmy pays himself but never pays his partners. To be totally transparent, we had a falling out because a good friend of ours, who is now a successful Latin artist and used to be Lemmy’s assistant, told us that he sexually assaulted her.”
Additionally, Power says he receives “nothing,” yet is forced to pay taxes on money Zeus reports they have.
“To this day, myself, Bach, and Amanda receive K1 tax documents stating that we make millions of dollars from the Zeus network as partners. So, we’re paying taxes on money that we never receive,” Power shared.
Power says he and his fellow co-founders have spent millions on lawyers in court for years to retrieve some of the money they are rightfully owed.
Plummer responded to Power by sharing a screenshot of his video with the words, “I will address your lies/post very soon @destorm. In the meantime, let me know if you’re interested in being on Smile LA @dr.trevthomas. I look forward to court/trial.”
