A woman has filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing him of sexually assaulting her after a party in 1999.
The unnamed plaintiff, then 23 and working as a model and promotional employee, attended a VIP event hosted by Combs in New York City. She alleges that as the night progressed, the Bad Boy Records founder invited her to stay at his home to avoid the hassle of catching a train.
According to the complaint, she informed Combs that she was married, and he assured her that there would be “no inappropriate conduct.”
However, she claims she began feeling extremely drowsy and “suspected she had been drugged” while en route to his home. In an attempt to alert her husband, she texted him the address from mail she saw in the car, but the driver allegedly tried to move it out of sight.
Once at Combs’ home, the woman alleges he pressured her to drink more before leading her to a bed and making “unwanted physical advances.” She claims he groped her and penetrated her with his fingers over a four-hour period.
Combs’ attorneys responded: “No matter how many lawsuits are filed… it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone.”
The Bad Boy founder, who faces multiple sexual misconduct allegations, remains in custody after a federal judge denied him bail following his September indictment on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. He has pleaded not guilty.
