Wendy Williams, the queen of Hot Topics, has shared her thoughts on Sean “Diddy” Comb‘s legal challenges.
During her interview on The Breakfast Club Thursday morning, Wendy weighed in on the Bad Boy founder’s high-profile case and didn’t mince words.

“Diddy will go to prison for life, people,” Wendy said during the phone interview when asked about the producer’s case. “You don’t know the things that I know about Diddy back in the day.” She continued, “It’s about time, people. Diddy done.”
Diddy, 55, is currently facing a slew of serious federal charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The allegations, detailed in a September 2024 indictment, accuse the music mogul of running a criminal enterprise that exploited women and worked to conceal his alleged misconduct.
Combs, who remains in custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, has long been a controversial figure in the entertainment industry. Wendy’s remarks also brought attention back to a 2015 segment from The Wendy Williams Show, in which she commented on his relationship with singer Cassie Ventura. At the time, Wendy questioned his allegedly controlling behavior and suggested that dating someone with Diddy’s level of power and influence could be overwhelming.
Cassie, who dated Diddy from 2007 to 2018, sued him in November 2023, alleging years of abuse and sexual assault. The lawsuit was settled within 24 hours, but the claims resurfaced as more allegations against Diddy emerged in late 2024.
Wendy and Diddy also share a complex history. In her 2004 memoir, The Wendy Williams Experience, Wendy accused him of attempting to derail her career after he allegedly played a role in her firing from Hot 97 in 1998. “The hell he put me through—I will never forget,” she wrote. Despite their differences, the two appeared to make amends when Diddy made a surprise appearance on The Wendy Williams Show in 2017, a moment Wendy described as “full circle.”
