Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, suggested in a recent chat with TMZ that the music mogul could be released from prison sooner than his tentative May 8, 2028 date.
“I think it’ll be sooner than that. How much sooner than that, I don’t know; there are a lot of variables. We just kind of want to get him situated.” Agnifilo said.
Diddy has already been transferred to FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, a low-security facility known for its Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP). He arrived there early Thursday, a place where Agnifilo believes the mogul will thrive.
“I have no doubt he’ll be a perfect prisoner, and I have no doubt that he’ll get out as soon as the system lets him,” he said.
Diddy has not yet released a statement since starting his stint at FCI, though it’s evident his focus is on freedom. It was previously reported that Diddy’s legal team was seeking a presidential pardon, though the White House has stated it would not assist with the producer’s release.
