Diddy might be behind bars, but he’s already got plans for the outside. According to prosecutors at his sentencing hearing Friday, the embattled music mogul is so sure he’ll be released on time served that he’s already booked speaking engagements in Miami for next week.
“He has booked speaking engagements in Miami for next week. That is the height of hubris, your honor,” federal prosecutor Mary Slavik told the court.
Slavik didn’t stop there, blasting Diddy’s lack of remorse.
“Even now at sentencing for his conviction for two federal crimes … he doesn’t fully grapple with how his actions got him here,” she said. “His respect for the law is just lip service.”
She argued Diddy used wealth and power to control and sexually degrade victims, including Cassie Ventura.
“This isn’t a case about just sex,” she added. “It’s a case about real victims who suffered real harm at the hands of the defendant … it’s about a man who did horrible things to other people to satisfy his own sexual gratification.”
The judge will now decide whether Diddy’s future includes a return to the stage or more time behind bars. Baller Alert reached out to his team for comment. They have not responded.
