Diddy Shares Positive Phone Call With Gunna: ‘Dream Big And Bold’ [Video]

Sean “Diddy” Combs is ensuring Gunna feels supported while behind bars awaiting trial on RICO charges.

The Atlanta rapper has been locked up since he was arrested in May in a mass gang-related indictment. Fellow YSL rapper Young Thug was taken into custody in the same sweep.

On Saturday, the business mogul shared a video on Instagram of a conversation the two shared. Diddy was very uplifting, and Gunna seemed to be feeling optimistic, despite his challenging situation.

“I’m praying, man, I’m praying,” Diddy starts off the piece of the conversation in the video. To which Gunna responded, “Yeah, that’s it, they going to work. I’ve been doing nothing but preserving myself. Keeping my mind together. You know, getting myself right.”

Diddy apologizes for what the “Banking On Me” rapper is going through, and Gunna tells him, “it’s part of the testimony.” He adds, “So, you know, I just got to understand that, you know what I’m saying? This ain’t what we thought it is; it’s part of the journey.”

Diddy reassures Gunna that sometimes God brings people on these journeys and that this will make him stronger. He lets him know that we are all awaiting his return to freedom before giving him some advice.

“You know, empower your mind every single second, stay in a high frequency, know that it’s going to be alright. It’s for a reason you don’t even know about … Just get ready for your return … You got some good time in there to be laser-focused and do a lot of positive things, and dream big and bold.”

The two expressed love for one another before ending the conversation. Check out a clip of the call below.
