Diddy’s legal team is declaring that the alleged “freak-off” videos actually prove his innocence. Even more interesting, they claim his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, is seen on the tapes seemingly enjoying the massive events, which they are arguing were consensual orgies, not exploitative sex parties as prosecutors allege.
According to legal documents, Diddy’s attorneys assert that the nine so-called “freak-off” videos depict “private sexual activity between fully consenting adults in a long-term relationship.”
They contend that Cassie “not only consented but thoroughly enjoyed herself,” appearing “happy, dominant, and completely in control.”
Prosecutors had described the recordings as “elaborate and produced sex performances,” but Diddy’s defense counters that the footage simply shows “adults having consensual sex, plain and simple.” The legal team also denies any involvement of secret cameras, minors, coercion, or underground tunnels, pushing back against circulating conspiracy theories.
Further, Diddy claims Cassie kept the videos on her devices for years and voluntarily handed them over to the government, contradicting accusations that he retained them as leverage. His attorneys maintain that the tapes were not seized from his home nor stored on his devices.
They insist there’s no evidence of violence, threats, manipulation, drug use, or sex trafficking—key allegations in the case. Diddy continues to assert his innocence, with his team pointing to the tapes as definitive proof. Cassie’s attorney, Douglas Wigdor, has yet to comment on these claims. However, these new claims are much different than the drugging and raping accusations that Cassie described in her lawsuit, which was quickly settled by Diddy.
