On Monday, Justin Combs took to social media to share a heartfelt birthday message for his father, Sean “Diddy” Combs, amid his father’s incarceration.
Despite recent legal troubles, Justin, surrounded by siblings, emphasized the love and respect they still hold for the Bad Boy mogul despite his many heinous allegations. In the clip, Diddy’s youngest daughter, Love, kicks off the happy birthday song as his other children join in. Justin holds up a phone, where Diddy can be seen on a video call. The “I Need a Girl” rapper, who turns 55 today, thanks his children for “being strong” and supporting him throughout his legal woes. The only one who is not present in the clip is his daughter, Chance. However, their son, Christian, is seen holding another phone with her on speaker, wishing her father a happy birthday.
Diddy is currently housed in the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, where he faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has maintained his innocence. The Combs family continues to show unwavering love, having appeared at his court dates. Christian also shared the tribute video on his Instagram profile.
Many fans expressed mixed feelings regarding the Combs’ children honoring their dad. Some believe their message of support is distasteful, while others believe the Combs children are within their right to stand by Diddy.
