The lawsuit, originally filed in October 2023 by Ashley Parham, accuses Combs of sexual assault, battery, abuse, false imprisonment, and kidnapping. The amended complaint, filed Friday, expands the list of defendants to include Druski, Beckham, Combs’ mother Janice Combs, blogger Jacquelyn “Jaguar” Wright, and eight others.
In a statement on Monday, Combs’ legal team denied the allegations and blasted the lawsuit as a baseless attempt to attract attention.
“This new complaint—brought by an attorney who has already been sued for defaming Mr. Combs—demonstrates the depraved lengths plaintiffs will travel to garner headlines in pursuit of a payday,” Combs’ team said. “Mr. Combs was nowhere near Orinda, California, on the day Ms. Parham claims she was assaulted there.”
Parham claims she first connected with Combs in February 2018 during a FaceTime call with a man named Shane Pearce. She alleges that after suggesting Combs was involved in Tupac Shakur’s 1996 killing, she was “set up” to be assaulted by Combs the following month. The alleged assault reportedly occurred on March 23, 2018, at Pearce’s apartment in Orinda, California.
Parham accuses Druski—identified as “John Doe” in the original filing—of assaulting her at Combs’ instruction. She alleges Druski “doused” her with lubricant and jumped on top of her, causing injury. Beckham is also accused of participating in the assault, alongside Pearce.
Both Druski and Beckham have vehemently denied the claims.
“This allegation is a fabricated lie,” Druski wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday. “I wasn’t a public figure in 2018—I was broke living with my mom without any connections to the entertainment industry at the time of this allegation, so the inclusion of my name is truly outlandish.”
“My heart breaks for actual victims of abuse, but I’m fully confident that the evidence will expose this falsehood and the individuals who are maliciously trying to game the legal system to peddle false narratives,” he added.
Beckham also responded to Druski’s statement, writing: “Boy I’ll tell u what. This world makes absolutely no sense. I am covered by God. He will prevail. … That name will be cleared. (It’s) stupid.”
The lawsuit also makes claims involving Combs’ mother, Janice Combs. Parham alleges that after the assault, Combs called his mother, who pleaded with Parham not to hurt her son. The lawsuit also details an alleged cover-up involving intimidation tactics, claiming Parham was shown footage of her sister’s home and was later approached by someone posing as a law enforcement officer.
However, the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office has dismissed the claims, saying in a statement: “A report was taken on March 23, 2018. We take these cases seriously, and detectives thoroughly investigated the accusations. It was later determined the claims were unfounded.
