On Wednesday night, authorities released footage of a gang of dirt bikers beating a 64-year-old man and his son.
The brutal assault which happened on Tuesday, escalated after the driver allegedly hit a member of the gang in Harlem. The driver collided with the dirt biker who ran a red light at Frederick Douglass Boulevard and West 127th Street around 4:30 pm.
After the crash, the driver fled the scene but the gang cut him off two blocks later at St. Nicholas Terrace.
The surveillance video shows the gang pulling the driver from the vehicle and repeatedly kicking him. The footage also captured two other suspects running to the altercation to join in the attack.
The mob got away with a cellphone, driver’s license, credit cards, and roughly $150.
Both of the assault victims were transported to St. Luke’s Hospital after suffering minor injuries but are in stable condition, authorities say.
The dirt bikers have not been identified yet.
