An angry dispute between an electrician and his boss sparked a murderous rage in Florida which left three co-workers beaten to death.
It all started after 39-year-old Shaun Runyon got into an argument with his boss at a job site and punched him before fleeing the scene.
Runyon worked for a company based in Pennsylvania that was building a new grocery store in Davenport, Fla., and shared a home with several other colleagues during the construction process.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s office, Runyon returned to the house he shared with his co-workers after punching his boss and began attacking everyone there.
Runyon allegedly used a baseball bat and a knife, beating one victim to death while they slept.
“He stabbed and beat people inside the residence,” Sheriff Grady Judd said, noting there were seven people inside at the time.
“We have no idea what outraged him so bad that more than 24 hours later that he would come back and make an attempt to kill every one of them,” Judd said.
