Disney Cruises will remain docked through the upcoming months as a precaution amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
On Wednesday, the cruise line announced an updated travel alert. The alert confirmed that all sailings had been canceled as the company continues to await further guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Disney Magic’s European cruises will remain halted through August 10th. Disney Wonder’s sailing schedule remains unknown and will be dependent upon Canadian restrictions. The ships Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy will set sail on June 4th and 2nd.
Guests whose cruise itineraries were affected will receive email correspondence from the company to include the next steps.
Carnival Cruise also announced Wednesday that they would be extending their pause in sailings from U.S. ports through May 31st.
In the early months of the COVID-19 spread, cruise lines were plagued with outbreaks of passengers while at sea, forcing them to dock their fleets to slow the spread of the virus.
