Walt Disney World has once again updated its face mask policy, requiring visitors at any dining location to wear their face masks while “standing, waiting or sitting.”
According to Deadline, the iconic theme park has updated its mask policy several times during the pandemic. Originally, the face mask policy for dining locations was not as specific, aside from a warning to visitors to keep their face masks up unless “actively eating while stationary” at the park’s locations and Disney Springs.
Now the policy posted on the company’s website is clearer.
“Face coverings for each Guest age 2 and up, which must be worn in all public areas and can only be removed while actively eating or drinking,” the statement said. “Face coverings must be worn while standing, waiting, or sitting in dining locations,” it continued.
The theme park’s mask policy also applies to anyone who had already received the COVID-19 vaccine as well.
