Disturbing Video of Baltimore Resource Officer Slapping High School Student – blogged by: @proudlylauren

A disturbing video released Tuesday, shows a uniformed police officer slapping a younger individual three times, just before kicking them and yelling profanities.

According to CNN, the incident took place at a Baltimore high school. The officer involved was not a city police officer, but a school resource offer. He did not report to the building on Wednesday.  The chief of Baltimore school police is on administrative leave until the situation is resolved.

The video of the incident is only five seconds long, so what happened before isn’t clear. However, school officials say no matter what happened before, the officer’s actions were way out of line.

Karl Perry, Chief School Supports Officer, told CNN “I’m a parent, and I’m totally appalled at what I saw in that video,”.
