DJ Akademiks and ATL Jacob Exchange Heated Words on Social Media Over Producer Comments

It’s got to be something in the water?

ATL Jacob and DJ Akademiks had a back-and-forth on X Tuesday, leaving fans scratching their heads and  wondering why the two might be beefing.

The argument started when Jacob called out Akademiks over a comment the media personality made about producers.

“Aye lil bruh @Akademiks u sound dumb as hell,” Jacob tweeted, referencing Ak’s claim that producers shouldn’t have opinions. “N***a said ‘u can’t have an opinion cause u a producer’ what u think got me here? I got a opinion about every song I work on.”

Akademiks didn’t hold back, snapping back with: “You heard what I said n***a STFU and make some drums if u gon back peddle every single time u speak out the side of ur mouth and get checked.”

Things escalated when Jacob raised the stakes, offering Akademiks $250,000 if he could find a clip of him talking badly about any of his friends. Ak clapped back, dismissing the offer: “You sound like a HOE tryna show out. Na I don’t need ur lil money. Go invest that in ya career. I run media. I love n**s like you who gossip bout their n***s (Future etc) to me. I’ll explain on my stream.”

This latest spat follows ATL Jacob’s recent back-and-forth with Cardi B, though he claimed there was no intent to diss her.
