DJ Cassidy’s hit social media series “Pass The Mic” took over BET after the NAACP Awards with a star-studded lineup of classic 90’s RnB hit artists.
Cassidy recently inked a deal with BET to air six “Pass The Mic” specials and the after-party that aired last night after the 52nd Annual NAACP Awards was full of non-stop jams from the ’90s.
DJ Cassidy opened the show last night with a Ginuwine performing his number one classic “Pony” and passed the mic to Montell Jordan next, who performed his party anthem “This is how we do it.” Followed by NEXT performing their hit “Too Close.”
The throwback hits just kept coming with at-home performances by Donnell Jones, Soul 4 Real, Carl Thomas, Brownstone, and Adina Howard.
Then Sisqo literally flipped on-screen with Dru Hill, complete with choreography, while joined by Da Brat and Jermaine Dupri, who all performed the 90’s jam “Sleeping in My Bed (Remix).”
But Cassidy wasn’t done. Gina Thompson performed with Missy Elliott, and 112 performed with Mase before concluding with SWV and Wyclef Jean.
