Rick Ross and DJ Envy are at it this year. With their annual car shows coming up, the two are at odds and taking shots.
On Thursday, Rapper Rick Ross took shots at DJ Envy, mainly saying he can’t see him when it comes to cars.
“Since we on our car show, DJ Envy, you’ll never be on my level,” Rick Ross said on his Instagram Stories. “Envy, don’t nobody build cars to come to your car show. Don’t nobody drive from out of state to come to your car show, Envy. Da Beige Rage. You see? But make sure them people got everything they need, Envy. And Memphis, y’all better hold Envy to it.”
“Envy, when you go to Houston, that’s Trae [Tha Truth’s] show, n-gga. Everywhere you go, you rent. Them people gotta put you out at about what, 4:00 PM? That’s why you charge $15. This my front yard. We having a BBQ. We stay as late as Rozay want us to stay.”
“Bow down, Envy. Bow down, beige boy. You a beige boy! And make sure my people good. We been had these. We show love, for real. You just marketing.”
But Envy had a little something to say to the Florida native. On Friday, he said, “Ross, you Airbnb your home! The house that you sleep in!” Envy said. “Eddie Murphy slept in your bed. They shot Coming to America and Eddie Murphy man-milked your bed.”
He then said the cast of Boomerang also filmed at his house and slept in his bed.
“Call me beige boy, fat boy,” Envy mocked while also mentioning high blood pressure, gout, and diabetes. Envy then goes on to say he’s not going to charge someone $500 just to come to his car show.
He then said his Memphis car show is being done with Young Dolph’s company, “Paper Route,” so the proceeds will go to Dolph’s family.
Rick Ross mentioned Young Dolph in his rant, saying the late rapper should be a part of the proceeds.
Envy called the 200-300 cars at Ross’ show trash, saying his is about quality over quantity. And implied Ross isn’t doing well because he keeps coming at him.
Ross recently had his permit denied by Fayette County, which sparked concerns about if it will continue. The permit was refused because it was not “in compliance with Fayette County Zoning Ordinance.” However, it doesn’t seem like Ross is taking no for an answer.
“Breaking news, the Rick Ross Car Show June 3 goes on,” he said. Adding, “It’s a private event on private property with VIPs, and you’re invited. Tickets are still available online. It’s going to be a beautiful event. Shoutout to the beautiful city of Fayetteville,” Ross posted to Instagram after the denial.
“I love Fayetteville so much. Next year I’m running for mayor.” “That’s right,” he added, “The boss Rick Ross running for mayor of Fayetteville.” He went on to say, “I wanna know how many votes did it actually take to vote in the mayor of Fayetteville. I need to know that ‘cause we gon’ become that. We gon’ make that happen, and we gonna have a good time. We gon’ give some people opportunities, we gon’ give some people raises and, of course, we gon’ have to clean some people out.”
