DJ Mustard‘s ex-wife, Chanel Thierry, is reportedly demanding more than $80,000 in child support.
According to The Blast, Thierry is seeking “reasonable support” that amounts to $82,6288 per month for their three children. The total amount could possibly change as a pending review is in progress to determine Mustard’s 2022 earnings.
In 2020, Thierry claimed her attorneys found Mustard’s adjusted gross income for that year was over $10 million. Nevertheless, Thierry is asking for a “temporary support order” while Mustard’s 2022 earnings are reviewed.
Per their pre-marital agreement, Thierry will receive $35,000 per month in spousal support. The agreement also states Mustard will “up his support payments from June 1, 2022, to present.” To add, Thierry is asking for a supplementary $60,000 to “up the support payments he has made thus far.”
In addition, Thierry is seeking joint custody of their three kids. However, if the estranged couple can’t come to a mutual agreement, Thierry wants “tie-breaking authority” of their kids “health and education.”
Mustard later responded to Thierry’s request and filed “for a status judgment” that allows the couple to be recognized as single.
The music producer requested they “reserve jurisdiction over all other subject matter issues of the marriage, including but not limited to, child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, division of community property assets and liabilities, confirmation of separate property assets and liabilities, reimbursement claims, and attorney and expert fees and costs, and all other matters which the Court determines appropriate and within the scope of the jurisdiction.”
Mustard and Thierry are expected to appear in court on February 1st.
