According to police, a DJ opened fire inside an Atlanta nightclub on Sunday, injuring three patrons.
11 Alive reports that Atlanta Police were called to the Silver Ultra Lounge in southwest Atlanta around 2 a.m. for reports of a person shot.
The DJ was working at the club when the manager asked him to leave following an argument. That’s when he opened fire, firing off several shots into the floor.
A woman was hit by a ricocheting bullet and taken to the hospital. Two other men reportedly turned up at the hospital after having also been shot during the incident. All three were listed in stable condition.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Byron Xavier Alexander, 25, fled the scene, but he was found up the road from the club at a gas station and taken into custody. He was charged with aggravated assault, reckless conduct, and criminal trespass charges. The DJ is now in custody at the Fulton County Jail.
