DJ Paul speaks out on Gangsta Boo’s death and claims authorities know who’s responsible for her demise.
The Three 6 Mafia co-founder recently provided an update on Boo’s death, which follows Crunchy Black claiming that Boo’s brother was responsible for her passing. When HipHopDX posted the story on Instagram, a fan suggested that Black should present his theory to the authorities. DJ Paul then joined the conversation, mentioning that this step had already been taken.
“They have it,” DJ Paul wrote. “They have her phone and they know who did it.”
On the night of Boo’s demise, her brother E Gutta was present and also experienced an overdose. Both the rapper and her sibling were admitted to the hospital after the incident, yet only her brother managed to survive. At the beginning of this week, Crunchy Black posted a screenshot of an Instagram comment from an individual who claimed to have been incarcerated alongside Gutta.
“Ay tell everybody that you probably got her up outta here on purpose..” the message read. “Did u tell these folk that all u used to do when we was locked up was talk about how much u hate her cuz she ain’t send you no bread or help put you on? U a phony.”
The message continued, “I’m bout to reach out to yo whole family and tell them everything you used to be talking about in prison when it came to Boo. Imma start wit your mama because she needs to know her son ain’t sh*t.”
On New Year’s Day, Boo tragically passed away at 43 years old. She was found unresponsive at her mother’s residence in Memphis and was declared deceased at the location. Reports indicated that her death resulted from an overdose involving fentanyl, cocaine, and ethanol (alcohol).
