Last week, tensions flared between DJ Vlad and Marlon Wayans on X (formerly Twitter) after VladTV aired their grievances on social media. The public spat caught the attention of many, but it seems DJ Vlad has had a change of heart. The popular host recently apologized to the 52-year-old actor, admitting that his actions were unprofessional.
During a recent interview with DJ Akademiks on his platform, Vlad opened up about the situation, revealing his regrets. “Honestly, at the end of the day, it was just a business negotiation,” Vlad explained. “I could’ve kept it to myself. I overdid it.”
Vlad went on to express his genuine respect for Wayans, clarifying that his initial approach was driven by admiration. He admitted to feeling slighted when Wayans appeared to show more respect for other media personalities like Charlamagne Tha God and Big Boy. However, Vlad took full responsibility for his actions, acknowledging that the situation could have been handled differently.
“My bad, Marlon, I apologize,” Vlad said, hoping to mend fences. “It’s all good. I think most people just want to respect each other, and I think it could have been handled a little differently.”
