DMX Pulls Out Of George Zimmerman Boxing Match

It was originally reported that the George Zimmerman “celebrity boxing match” had been cancelled but unfortunately that is not the case. The fight will indeed go on, just without DMX.

Originally, the promoter of the fight abruptly cancelled the fight, feeling guilt after hearing such an outpour of concern — or so he says. Sounds more to me like it was all a publicity stunt.

Another promoter, an online streaming service FilmOn.com, says they secured the rights to the Zimmerman fight after the other promoter backed out. They promise  the fight will be like a “Fight Club” blood match and less of a “celebrity boxing match”. Why did they ditch DMX? The promoter says much bigger names than DMX want in.

I don’t know if this is better or worse.
