As part of DMX’s Hollywood comeback, which has been filled with music appearances ahead of the 20th anniversary of ‘It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot,’ the rapper is taking his talents back to the big screen for a new psychological thriller movie, ‘Chronicle Of A Serial Killer.”
Directed by Steve Stanulis, the film will follow a serial killer who targets women that he believes will turn out to be like his mother. In his role, DMX will be playing a lead detective tasked to track the serial killer down.
Stanulis told Hot New Hip Hop, “When my casting director suggested DMX it immediately resonated with me as a perfect fit. I have no doubt he is going bring a different dynamic to the role, and I’m excited to have him part of this talented cast. I’m looking forward to working with him and everyone else this summer.”
The film is starring Brendan Sexton as main character Brolin. Tara Reid is a part of the project as well. Filming for ‘Chronicle of a Serial Killer’ will begin in New York City in June.
