DMX’s son, Xavier, may have ultimately betrayed his father. Xavier is one of the four kids that DMX fathered with his estranged wife, Tashera. DMX and Tashera wed in 1999 and separated in 2010. X lived with Xavier and Tashera until 2007 when she finally put him out. Unfortunately when he got the boot, he forgot to pack quite a few things, including his plaques commemorating the platinum status of “It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot,” “And Then There Was X” and “Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood Of My Blood.”
You may recall 22-year-old Xavier Simmons from his appearance with DMX on OWN’s “Iyanla Fix My Life.” Xavier wants to be a musician himself, and to jump start his career he’s going to need some cash. So what does he do? He lists his dad’s plaque on eBay for $3,000.
While I understand his need for money, selling his father’s prized possession is a terrible thing to do. Xavier could always just go get a job. Then again, X is currently in jail for failure to pay $400,000 in child support. He has 12 children, 4 of which were with his wife.
To be honest, Xavier could get WAY more than $3,000 for that plaque. He’s selling his father short.
