Doctor On Trial After He Was Accused Of Mixing His Semen In Employee’s Coffee

A British doctor is on trial for allegedly giving a woman a cup of coffee laced with his semen.

According to the Metro, 55-year-old Nicholas Chapman is accused of trying to have sex with a woman against her will on two separate occasions.

The victim, who was not identified for legal reasons, told Gloucester Crown Court that after finishing a drink that Chapman had given her, she was surprised to find a “gloopy” substance at the bottom of her cup.

She then reported the suspicious “specimens” to the police, who instructed her to freeze the evidence. A lab test later revealed that the substance was indeed “sperm related to the doctor.”

The doctor was detained when he arrived at work and stated that he was “shocked” in an interview. He also suggested that the semen may have been in the coffee due to an unusual medical issue he has had since he was a teenager.

According to prosecution attorney Richard Posner, the victim had been concerned for a long time before September 2021, when she first started to suspect that “something wasn’t right” with the drinks.

“The woman became concerned about the taste of the coffee that Dr. Chapman had made her on a number of occasions and she recalls spitting it out,” Mr. Posner said. “On September 13, 2021, she was throwing away the contents when she saw a gloopy substance in the bottom of the cup.”

According to Virginia Cornwall, in his defense said, “Dr. Chapman did not have any sexual interest in this woman and did not behave inappropriately towards her. He denies making the woman her coffee on that day and states that he denies putting anything in her coffee at any time. Dr. Chapman can only assume that somebody else put his semen into the coffee as he collects it on a regular basis and places the contents in plastic bottles and undertakes his own testing of it.”
