Back in June, comedian and actor Tracy Morgan was involved in a serious accident when his limo bus collided with a Wal-mart truck, killing one of his friends and leaving him and others in critical condition. Since the accident, Morgan has been working to recover physically. Now his lawyer Benedict Morelli is telling people that doctors are unsure if Morgan will ever be able to perform again due to brain injuries he suffered. “The jury’s still out. The doctors don’t know the answer. I don’t know the answer,” Morelli told Page Six.
Morgan is also currently in a legal battle with Walmart. Morgan is suing Walmart for negligence because they allowed their truck driver to drive for 24 hours straight without sleep. Walmart is now trying to put the blame on Morgan, saying that the reason he and his friends were injured was because they weren’t wearing seat belts.
It would be a big loss to the comedy world if Tracy Morgan were never to hit the stage again. I hope he’s able to make a full recovery and get back to doing what he loves.
