Singer, songwriter and rapper Doja Cat may be stepping away from the music industry following tweets she posted Thursday: “I Quit.”
This Thursday, the 26-year-old star took to Twitter and began expressing her desire to leave the music business. She’s also since changed her Twitter account name to “I Quit.”
On Friday, she returned with more tweets, saying that she doesn’t care anymore and reiterating that she is calling it quits.
“it’s gone and i don’t give a f–k anymore i f–kin quit i can’t wait to f–king disappear and i don’t need you to believe in me anymore,” Doja Cat wrote. “Everything is dead to me, music is dead, and i’m a f–king fool for ever thinking i was made for this this is a f–king nightmare unfollow me.”
She also shared tweets about a performance she did in Brazil.
“I don’t think I gave Brazil a good enough show tonight at all and I’m sorry for that but thank you guys for coming out I fucking love you and thank god we got another show tomorrow I promise I’ll do better.” After that, she posted, “This shit ain’t for me so I’m out. Y’all take care.”
