Doja Cat recently warned her white audience on her Scarlet tour to watch their mouths before performing a song with the N-word.
Despite her past controversies, it appeared to be a playful way to address the ongoing issue of language sensitivity in hip-hop at social events.
“Watch your mouth if you’re white,” she expressed before singing the chorus to her hit “Ain’t Sh*t.”
However, after the show was over, Doja took to Instagram to apologize to her fans.
“I’m so f*ckin sorry,” she wrote. “New Jersey I don’t know what the f*ck that was. I’m really not happy with my energy tonight.”
As you know, the rapper and singer has faced backlash since stepping into the spotlight after it was rumored that she was supporting white supremacists in online chatrooms.
