At the 2026 ASCAP Brunch, Domani pulled up with a grounded outlook during his conversation with Baller Alert. While the room buzzed with industry energy, Domani kept his focus on craft, discipline, and the family foundation that shaped how he moves.

When asked about advice from his father, T.I., that stuck with him early, Domani pointed straight to effort and intention.
“The main thing is really take it serious. Anything you do, put 110% into it. That’s just from a little kid, just whatever I’m doing.” He tied that mindset to watching his family win by staying authentic. “I would say that and just… sitting back and watching him and the whole family, whether that’s my stepmom, my sisters, my cousins, really just have success from being themselves. I feel like that taught me a lot.”
That same approach shows up in how Domani talks about his music. There is no rush, no gimmicks, and no shortcuts. Just work. “It’s just I love music and I just continue to accept the challenge to better myself, study music, continue to record.” For him, growth came from consistency, not chasing a moment. “And over time, over a period of time, I guess I formed a sound and it’s just the rest is history.”
Even then, Domani stays humble about the process. “But I really didn’t think about it like that.” At an event built to honor writers and creators, his words landed as a reminder that longevity starts with taking yourself seriously long before anyone else does.
