Sharing a set together seems to be the only work #DonCheadle wants to do with his “Avengers” co-star, Mark Ruffalo.
The fourth installment of the Marvel movie is expected to arrive in March and while promoting the film is an automatic responsibility, Cheadle has his own stipulations. One thing he made very clear on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” is that he’d rather pass on doing press runs with Ruffalo. The primary reason being that “He runs his mouth a lot.”
He continued to question why he would want to “hassle” himself with the stress of worrying about which way the Hulk character will ruin it by throwing out spoilers to viewers. He even threw Tim Holland or Spider-Man under the bus.
“I don’t need to be sitting next to him when he blows the whole reveal of the movie. Him, Tom Holland, they both…little chatty,” he said.
If you’re wondering what the movie’s “War Machine” was referring to, a perfect example is the pair’s interview on “Good Morning America.” That’s where Ruffalo excitedly told fans that “everybody dies” at that end of “Avengers: Infinity War.” Of course, Don scolded him with a very obviously frustrated, “Dude.”
It’s cool though! At least now fans will be attentively tuning in for every press interview hoping for some unexpected tea.
