Donald Trump said that LeBron James is a “nasty” person who is ruining the NBA.
Chile, this man just says anything. Trump claims that James, a three-time NBA champion, is a “hater” who is messing up professional basketball. His words come from an appearance he made on “The Rush Limbaugh Show” when 45 blamed the NBA’s declining ratings on the league’s support of Black Lives Matter. “The NBA has become so political that nobody cares about it anymore,” said Trump. “I don’t even know who’s playing in the Finals.”
James is taking the Los Angeles Lakers to the NBA Finals, and they are set to go against the Miami Heat. While Trump is talking all that stuff, he says he hasn’t even met James but insists that he’s “nasty.” “LeBron is a spokesman for the democratic party and a very nasty spokesman,” Trump said.
He went on to talk about all the things he believes he’s done for the Black community. “Because, again, I’ve done so much for the Black community and people don’t wanna see that and he’s a great basketball player but people don’t wanna see a guy that way. They don’t want to see that. We have enough difficulty during the week, you don’t wanna sit down watching a basketball game and then watch somebody that hates your guts, okay, He’s a hater.”
We’re can only assume that James could care less. The last thing James had to say about Trump was mocking his vice president over the persistent fly that set up camp on his head during the Vice Presidential debate.
