Donald Trump is once again taking shots at one of his biggest opps, Taylor Swift.
On Friday, the 78-year-old unleashed his inner man-child and reignited their one-sided feud by posting on his Truth Social: “Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?’”
Trump first made headlines with his statement in September 2024, after Swift condemned AI-generated images used to promote his campaign and publicly endorsed Kamala Harris.
In a follow-up interview with Fox & Friends, Trump doubled down on his disdain for the “Shake It Off” performer.
“I was not a Taylor Swift fan. It was just a question of time….But she’s a very liberal person. She seems to always endorse a Democrat. And she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace,” he stated.
He kept the jabs coming during a Super Bowl celebration at the White House on April 28th, noting both he and Swift attended the game.
“How did that work out?” he asked, alluding to the Chiefs’ loss and Swift’s relationship with Travis Kelce.
Despite Trump’s public lashings, Swift has kept things classy, refraining from responding to the cranky commander-in-chief. However, Trump’s daughter Ivanka and granddaughter Arabella both attended Swift’s Eras Tour in Miami last year. Arabella even got a Swift-themed birthday cake, with Ivanka sharing a post online and captioning it, “Best cake for my favorite Swiftie.”
